Autowatch Ghost-II/Ghost Pro

This guide provides essential operating instructions for the Autowatch Ghost-II/Ghost Pro immobiliser system.

1. Normal Operation

To drive your vehicle, you must disarm the system using your unique sequence.

  1. Ignition On: Switch on the ignition (Dashboard lights on). Do not start the engine yet unless your vehicle is not starter-inhibited.
  2. Enter Sequence: Enter your disarm sequence using the vehicle's standard buttons (e.g., steering wheel buttons, window switches).
  3. Confirmation: Wait for the Indication Signal (a specific dash light) to flash twice.
  4. Start Engine: You may now start the engine and drive.

Smartphone & Key-Fobs

If you have a paired smartphone or key-fob present, the system will automatically disarm and flash twice when the ignition is switched on.

2. Service / Valet Mode

Use this mode when leaving your vehicle for servicing or valet parking to prevent sharing your secret code.

To Enter Service Mode:

  1. Disarm the system as normal (enter code and wait for 2 flashes).
  2. Press the Service Button 5 times.
  3. The indication signal will flash 5 times to confirm.

To Exit Service Mode:

  • Manually: Simply enter your disarm sequence while the ignition is on.
  • Automatically: The system will exit Service Mode if the vehicle is driven at 32 mph (50 km/h) for more than 15 minutes.

3. Configuration

Changing Your Disarm Sequence

  1. Switch the ignition on.
  2. Enter your current disarm sequence.
  3. Press and hold the accelerator pedal to the floor.
  4. Enter the current sequence again. The dash light will flash every 3 seconds (Learn Mode).
  5. Release the accelerator.
  6. Enter your new sequence (4 to 20 presses).
  7. Wait for 3 flashes.
  8. Enter the new sequence again to confirm.
  9. 2 flashes confirm success. 4 flashes mean the sequences didn't match (restart the process).

  3. Press the accelerator pedal the number of times required for the first digit.
  4. Release the brake pedal.
  5. Repeat for the remaining three digits.
