Autowatch Ghost-II/Ghost Pro¶
This guide provides essential operating instructions for the Autowatch Ghost-II/Ghost Pro immobiliser system.
1. Normal Operation¶
To drive your vehicle, you must disarm the system using your unique sequence.
- Ignition On: Switch on the ignition (Dashboard lights on). Do not start the engine yet unless your vehicle is not starter-inhibited.
- Enter Sequence: Enter your disarm sequence using the vehicle's standard buttons (e.g., steering wheel buttons, window switches).
- Confirmation: Wait for the Indication Signal (a specific dash light) to flash twice.
- Start Engine: You may now start the engine and drive.
Smartphone & Key-Fobs
If you have a paired smartphone or key-fob present, the system will automatically disarm and flash twice when the ignition is switched on.
2. Service / Valet Mode¶
Use this mode when leaving your vehicle for servicing or valet parking to prevent sharing your secret code.
To Enter Service Mode:¶
- Disarm the system as normal (enter code and wait for 2 flashes).
- Press the Service Button 5 times.
- The indication signal will flash 5 times to confirm.
To Exit Service Mode:¶
- Manually: Simply enter your disarm sequence while the ignition is on.
- Automatically: The system will exit Service Mode if the vehicle is driven at 32 mph (50 km/h) for more than 15 minutes.
3. Configuration¶
Changing Your Disarm Sequence¶
- Switch the ignition on.
- Enter your current disarm sequence.
- Press and hold the accelerator pedal to the floor.
- Enter the current sequence again. The dash light will flash every 3 seconds (Learn Mode).
- Release the accelerator.
- Enter your new sequence (4 to 20 presses).
- Wait for 3 flashes.
- Enter the new sequence again to confirm.
- 2 flashes confirm success. 4 flashes mean the sequences didn't match (restart the process).
Smartphone Pairing¶
- Install the "Autowatch Ghost-II" app and enable Bluetooth.
- Open the app and press the "+" button.
- On the vehicle, enter "Learn Mode" (follow steps 1–4 of "Changing Your Disarm Sequence").
- Press the Service Button once.
- Enter the Bluetooth pairing code found on your emergency card into the app.
4. Emergency Override¶
If you forget your code or a button fails, use the 4-digit Emergency Code on your Ghost-II card.
- Switch ignition on.
- Press and hold the brake pedal.
- Press the accelerator pedal the number of times required for the first digit.
- Release the brake pedal.
- Repeat for the remaining three digits.
- The system will enter Learn Mode (flashing every 3 seconds), allowing you to drive or set a new code.
